PADI Enriched Air Diver
The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is one of the most popular of PADI's specialities. Why? Scuba diving with enriched air gives you more no decompression time, especially on repetitive scuba dives. If staying down longer and getting back in the water sooner sounds appealing, then don’t hesitate to become an enriched air diver.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes. You can take part in the PADI Enriched Air Diver course from 12 years old
12-14 years old will receive a Junior Enriched Air Diver certification
Are there any prerequisites?
Yes, you need to be a PADI open water diver (or have a qualifying certification from another training organisation)
What does the course involve?
During the course you will complete some theory and learn why diving with air that has a higher oxygen and lower nitrogen content gives you more bottom time. You will then complete 2 dives on enriched air where you will practice analysing the oxygen content in your cylinder.
How long does the course take?
The Enriched Air Diver course can be completed in as quick as 1 day
Can I complete the theory before I get to Lanzarote?
Yes! You can complete all the theory online by PADI E-learning. That way when you arrive in Lanzarote you can jump straight into the water!
What does the course price include?
The course price includes equipment hire, manual and your PADI certification card!
What will I be qualified to dive to after the course?
You will be qualified to dive using enriched air for no stop recreational diving up to 40% oxygen.
