Learn how to respond in life threatening situations such as choking, how to help people out who are suffering with breathing problems. Also you will learn the basics of first aid such as bandaging and splinting.
Giving appropriate first aid immediately can help to reduce a person’s recovery time. It can make the difference between the patient having a temporary or long term disability. You’ll learn how to remain calm in emergency situations. Also you will learn simple acronyms to help you recall the steps you need to take. First aid training will make you confident and comfortable. Therefore making you more effective and in control when you need to be.
Throughout the day you will learn how to give CPR and first aid. By completing some theory, a couple of knowledge reviews and watching a DVD. Before moving on and practicing the skills. At the end of the day you will put everything together in some scenarios. During the course you will learn a lot and best of all you will have a lot of fun doing it!
Also if you are thinking about taking your PADI Rescue Diver or PADI Divemaster courses, this course meets the prerequisites for the first aid and CPR skills section.

What do you learn during the course?
During the course you will learn the basic steps and actions of a First Responder.

Why Emergency First Response?

How often should I refresh my skills?
Emergency First Response recommend refreshing your skills every two years. After successfully completing the course, you will receive a new card. You can refresh your skills with a short skills practice session.
