Why should we pick Manta Diving Lanzarote over all the other dive centres?
We believe the quality of service we offer is second to none. Additionally while many dive centres in Lanzarote take large dive groups out, we set a maximum of 8 divers per guide. We truly believe in quality over quantity. We understand we cannot please everyone, but it doesn’t stop us from trying. Check out some of our guest feedback and see what our divers have to say about their experiences with Manta Diving Lanzarote.
What happens if it rains?
Rain is very rare in Lanzarote. However even if it does rain, it does not pose any problems. Southerly winds are a different matter. If conditions are not safe and we are forced to cancel, you are not charged and any payments made will be gladly refunded. We will do our best to notify you as soon as possible if weather will impede our dives.
The best wind forecast we have found for Lanzarote is wind finder.
Should I make a booking in advance?
Yes, we highly recommend pre-booking your diving before you get to Lanzarote as we like to keep our dive groups small.
Also if you pre-book a 6 dive package or above you also receive a free dive on top of the dive package! Book diving now
Accommodation and Airport Transfers
Where's the best place to stay if I'm diving with Manta Diving?
We recommend staying in Puerto Del Carmen. There is a huge selection of accommodation on offer depending on what you are looking for. Studio apartments, 1 bedroom apartments, 2 bedroom apartments, villas and hotels are all available. If you aren’t too sure what you are looking for we recommend checking out Booking.com and Airbnb Enter Puerto Del Carmen and your dates and filter down the options.
There are 2 hotels nearby the dive centre that offer great rates to our divers.
The Costa Volcan Spa is next door to the dive centre. All the rooms are 1 bedroom apartments and sleep up to 3 with the third person on the sofa bed. It’s handy for diving as you can pop back to your room between dives. Only available as self-catering.
The THB Flora is a 10 minute walk up the road. They have a couple of pools onsite, as well as restaurant and supermarket. Boards available include: room only, bed and breakfast, half board and all-inclusive. This is a great hotel for families. The younger kids especially love the entertainment and there’s a splash park too!
If you would like a quote for either hotel just let us know what dates you are looking at coming diving in Lanzarote and what board basis you would like and we will request a price for you.
What's the easiest way to get from the airport to Puerto Del Carmen?
For airport transfers there are 2 options available. Taxi or Pre-booked Transfers.
Taxis are readily available as soon as you leave the building. Depending on where you are staying in Puerto Del Carmen a taxi will cost you around 18-20€ each way.
Alternatively you can prebook your transfers with a company such as First Minute. A private minibus transfer to your hotel is only 20€ each way. You can prebook online and pay when you meet them at the airport. Prebook here: Book Transfers Here
