Manta Diving win PADI Diver Training award!
Every year we sit down with our PADI regional managers to review the past year and go over our previous years PADI courses. This year we were fortunate to meet with Gorka and Jason from PADI. Gorka has been the Regional Manager from PADI for the Canaries for several years now. This month he is handing over the reigns to Jason. At the end of the meeting they surprised us with an award for Recognition of Exceptional Growth in PADI Diver training!
During the meeting we had an in depth look at our PADI diving courses. We found that our Advanced courses as well as Speciality Courses such as Nitrox and Deep have been thriving! In 2019 we bought the Nitrox compressor and membrane so it has been great to see how popular it has been with our divers. We love diving on enriched air as we can spend longer on the reef exploring!
Introducing a new speciality course in 2019 the delayed Surface Marker Buoy was a great addition. We have 2 options available. Firstly as an adventure dive on the Advanced course. Alternatively it can be done as a speciality course. If you have never been trained in deploying a surface marker buoy or you want some more practice you can spend 2 dives with Ben or Rachel learning and practicing the techniques! We look forward to teaching it more in 2020!
