The Advanced open water course is an exciting way to get a taste of some of the speciality courses. Preparing you for a range of different diving experiences and will qualify you to dive to 30 metres anywhere in the world. Visit some of the best dive sites in Puerto Del Carmen under the expert guidance of your PADI instructor.

The PADI Advanced Open Water course is 5 adventure dives. These are fun dives with a few skills throughout the dives. 

You have to complete the Deep and Navigation adventure dives. After that you can choose 3 dives along with your instructor. Some of the dives you may enjoy are: Digital Underwater Photography, Fish Identification, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search and Recovery, Wreck Diving, and Delayed Surface Marker Buoy.

2-3 days.

From 12 years old you can complete the PADI Advanced Open Water Course

Medical:

Good general health, if you can answer no to all the points on this medical that’s perfect! If you can answer a yes on page 1 you will need to complete page 2 and 3 as well.

Learn to dive in small groups so that you can develop excellent diving skills and maximising your fun in a friendly and safe environment.

Yes, all of our PADI courses include the Digital Student Materials and you can study all the theory online before you arrive, saving your precious holiday time!

The adventure dives are fun! We will complete some exercises during them, for example on the deep dive we will look at the effects of pressure and colour at depth. The navigation we will build on your skills that you learnt during your open water course, increasing your confidence and teaching you new navigational skills.

You just need to bring:

Swimwear
Towel
Change of clothes for afterwards
Open Water certification card or equivalent
Diving Insurance that covers you for personal accident and search and recovery.

Yes, you need to show us on your first day your insurance certificate and policy wording showing that scuba diving is covered to at least 30 metres. It needs to show cover for personal accident and search & recovery. If you don’t have sufficient insurance we can arrange it with DAN Europe for:

11€ for 2 days

15€ for 7 days

35€ for 365 days

You can complete the PADI Advanced Open Water course in as quick as 2 days! Diving 3 dives on each day. Alternatively you can spread it out over 3 days and do 2 dives a day.

Yes, DAN recommends waiting for at least 24 hours after diving.
