Key information about the PADI Scuba Diver Course
The Scuba diver course is perfect for beginners wanting to experience scuba diving and become a diver quickly. It opens the door to the underwater world for anyone who thought that a course would be too long or too difficult. During the course you will learn all the basics of scuba diving through knowledge development, learning scuba skills in confined water, that you will use later on during your open water dives.
Gain an appreciation for the underwater world that will keep you coming back for more dive time every chance you get! You will receive a PADI scuba diver certification which is valid worldwide for life! Later on if you want you can upgrade to Open Water Diver!

Good general health, if you can answer no to all the points on this medical that’s perfect! If you can answer a yes on page 1 you will need to complete page 2 and 3 as well.

Yes, of our scuba diver course includes the PADI digital student materials, so you can complete all the theory online before you arrive in Lanzarote. Saving you half a day in the classroom! Completing this option means when you arrive in Lanzarote you can jump straight underwater.
Included in the price of our PADI Scuba Diver course is:

You just need to bring:
- Swimwear
- Towel

We will break for lunch for at least 1 hour. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets where you can get something to eat.
Yes! As scuba divers we wear fins and a BCD (a jacket which you can fill with air), so there’s not much need for regular swimming. There is however a swimming test to make sure you are happy in the water. You need to be able to float/tread water for 10 minutes. In general you should be comfortable in the water and you should be fit and healthy with no medical issues.
It is recommended by DAN to wait at least 24 hours after your last dive before flying.
