Manta Diving Lanzarote was founded in 2001 and is a family run SSI Diamond Training Dive Centre. Ben and Rachel have owned and run it since 2011. Their first meeting was at Playa Chica scuba diving and the rest is history! When they bought the dive centre they changed it with the vision of creating the dive centre how they would like to be treated when they go on holiday and scuba dive! About Us
At Manta Diving Lanzarote scuba diving is our passion and we are committed to giving you the best diving experience possible!
In July 2021 we moved the dive centre and created a new sustainable dive centre. While designing it we ensured there was plenty of seating for kitting up and de-kitting, plenty of floor space to prepare your equipment inside. We created a compressor room for our 3 compressors. You can choose from 10, 12 or 15 Litre tanks – air or nitrox.
Our dive centre also has free wi-fi for our divers. As well as this we put in hot showers, toilet, lockers and plenty of room to store your equipment for the duration of your holiday. Also we have a fleet of air conditioned vans which allows us to offer you dive sites all over Lanzarote! Most importantly we have a friendly, professional, experienced dive team of expert SSI instructors waiting for you!
In Summer 2022, we added Viviendo El Sueño – our custom built trimaran hard boat to the Manta Diving family. Our boat is the only diving hard boat in Puerto Del Carmen. We offer 2 tank boat dives daily from Playa Chica at no extra cost!
We have won multiple awards, including the prestigious Travellers’ Choice award from TripAdvisor every year since 2014! As well as this we have won the #No1 in Spain – SSI Newcomer award 2022!
We are proud to be a Aqualung Partner Centre, providing quality up to date equipment from both Aqualung and Apeks.
MEET OUR Dive TEAM
Our Dive Centre
Enjoy a spacious centre with a full range of facilities including toilet, hot showers, lockers, spacious kitting up and de-kitting areas. Kit up inside the centre out of the sweltering sunshine, and on your return wash down and leave your equipment to dry in the dive centre.
Located just 100 metres from the best dive spots in Lanzarote. Benefit from our awesome location by cutting out any driving time. We kit up indoors, the equipment goes to Playa Chica in the van and we just stroll down, pop the gear on, buddy check & jump in! We return to the dive centre between dives, where you can enjoy our facilities & chat with the other divers before going a second dive.
One of the most important things to Ben and Rachel is having quality up to date hire equipment; so they partnered up with Aqualung and Apeks. All of the equipment is annually serviced.
Both Air and Nitrox 10L, 12L, 15L Steel tanks available.
In summer 2022, our new custom-built rigid boat arrived. From Puerto del Carmen, we offer daily boat dives at no extra cost so you can experience the best dive sites Lanzarote has to offer!
Our award winning expert dive team are all SSI instructors giving a professional, friendly and fun service! Ensuring that you are safe in the water is their priority!
