WHY LEARN TO GO WRECK DIVING?

The Wreck Diving specialty program teaches you the knowledge and skills needed to safely conduct non-penetration dives around wrecks.

If you’re at least 15 years old, you can enroll in the Wreck Diver course where upon completion of the online theory and two wreck dives, 1 on the Harbour Wrecks and 1 on the Tiñosa Wrecks – you will earn the prestigious Wreck Diving certification.

During 1 day you will complete 2 wreck dives, 1 to the Harbour Wrecks –  a set of 5 wrecks just a 5 minute boat ride from Playa Chica and 1 to Tiñosa Wrecks, a set of 3 wrecks just a 10 minute boat ride from Playa Chica. During your two wreck dives you will learn:
Safety considerations for navigating and exploring wrecks.
Surveying and mapping a wreck.
Techniques to avoid kicking up silt or disturbing the wreck and its inhabitants.
