Brendan ReActivates and gets back to diving after 10 years!
Jump back into diving in Lanzarote with a PADI ReActivate!
Brendan recently popped into the dive centre to chat with Ben about getting back to diving. He had qualified as PADI open water 10 years ago but hadn’t had a chance to dive since. The beauty of the PADI courses is that they are for life and don’t expire! All it meant that a thorough refresh as a PADI ReActivate had to be done first and then he could go diving in Lanzarote!
The next day Brendan arrived at the dive centre, working his way quickly through the theory. Then he met his PADI instructor James who took him through equipment preparation and changes since he last dived.
Afterwards it was time for some training in confined water. James took him through a series of skills such as mask clearing, out of air scenarios, buoyancy control and emergency weight drops. Preparing him to explore the wealth of marine life that the Atlantic Ocean from the coast of Lanzarote has to offer.
Next up it was time for the open water dive! Off to explore the dive site the Blue Hole. Swimming over the top of it was great fun! On the way back by sharks fin reef finding an angel shark on the sand! Amazing!
