Become a digital nomad in Lanzarote and experience the beauty of the island

Live The Digital Nomad Lifestyle In Lanzarote

Lanzarote is the perfect location for becoming a digital nomad.

All year round sunshine, good internet speeds, (with fibre optic in the main resorts such as Puerto Del Carmen and 4G almost all over the island). As well as this Lanzarote has the same time zone as the UK and Ireland (and only 1 hour difference for most of Europe). Lanzarote should be top of your list for places to live as a digital nomad.

Still need some more reasons to chose Lanzarote for your new life as a digital nomad? Enjoy the perfect work-life balance. In your downtime you can enjoy some of the best beaches in Europe, plenty of choice of bars and restaurants. Try the Canarian food, you have to experience the prawns in garlic oil. For our Irish Nomads, we recommend popping into Slattery´s Irish Bar on the avenida and saying hi to Kerry and Ger, they will look after you!

At the weekend you can make the most of your free time, there are plenty of great activities to choose from including:

Learning to scuba dive in the crystal clear Atlantic waters with the PADI open water course. At the weekend you could spend the morning diving and then in the afternoon head off to check out one of Lanzarote’s trail walks. We use the app AllTrails and we have found some great hikes around Haría, the Timanfaya National Park, even up a barranco (dried up river bed). The views are simply incredible, especially at the moment. Over the past few months we had an unusual amount of rain and it has turned Lanzarote green and full of flowers.

Learn to surf in Famara or if you can already surf, why not try kite-surfing?

Paragliding off Lanzarote’s dam or over the Famara cliffs.

Wine tasting tours at the bodegas

Dive Lanzarote’s newest dive site, the underwater museum, the first underwater museum in Europe. It’s a sculpture park made up of over 300 pH neutral sculptures.

Also let’s not forget about hiking the volcanoes. Our favourite is Caldera Blanca, the views at the top of the crater are breath-taking.

Also don’t forget to check out the grand canyon of Lanzarote.

If you work remotely or want to become a digital nomad, Lanzarote is waiting for you…
